The Cyrillic alphabet has long been one of the most aesthetically pleasing and intriguing to me, and while consisting of it’s own unique characters I have always found that it still bears semblance of a familiarity to the English alphabet. From this observation I traced back the history of the alphabet from Egyptian Hieroglyphs, Proto-Sinaitic and the Phoenician and Greek alphabets in particular, using these as a basis I formed a Cyrillic style representation of the English alphabet into a typeface incorporating the essence of the modern digitised aesthetic.
